Made from authentic, late-Victorian lorgnette chains, each extraordinary necklace in this collection is a true antique, crafted in high-quality gold-fill (the standard for strength and everyday wear in the 1800's), and retains its original dog clip - the very same clip Victorian women used to fasten glasses, scissors, tiny pencils, or lockets.

Each necklace in this collection features at least one genuine hand-set seed pearl or gem, and and every slider is one-of-a-kind. No two are alike, and each has its own personality.

Thanks to the expert eye of Kat of Stone Cooper (and her way with antiques), these necklaces have been carefully restored to their original glory. Designed to be worn with the slider settled at the bottom, right at the dog clip, these pieces are impossibly cool, full of history, and wildly unique.

I've been wearing mine almost daily(!!) - with everything from t-shirts to slinky camis. At 18", they sit perfectly at the collarbone and layer beautifully with other necklaces. I cannot overstate how incredibly special these pieces really are.
