Why These Made The Core Collection:

We only add something to the Core Collection after living with it for at least a year. That means wearing it regularly, traveling with it, washing it, gifting it, and generally putting it through real life. If we’re still reaching for it after all that, it earns a place here.

What is the Core Collection?

The Core Collection features pieces we’ve personally owned and used for at least a year — often much longer.

Are These Good Gifts?

Yes. Many of the pieces here have become some of our most gifted items because they’ve already been tested in real life.

Are these handmade or small-designer pieces?

Many of the items in the Core Collection come from small designers and independent makers we’ve discovered over the years. We love supporting artisans and brands that make things thoughtfully and well.

Why are there only a few items in the Core Collection?

Because we’re picky. The Core Collection is intentionally small — only pieces we’ve personally owned and loved for at least a year make the cut.

Do Core Collection items change?

Occasionally. We add new pieces only after we’ve lived with them long enough to know they truly belong here.
