Card Decks For The Curious

Riddles: This is exactly the kind of thing I keep in my purse to keep the kiddos entertained. And these riddles are the exact right amount of hard: not too much (most are about everyday objects), but not totally easy, either.

Constitution: If there was ever a time to get up close and personal with our actual Constitution…this is it. We love that this deck poses truly interesting questions as a way to navigate through it, too. Questions like, “Does the Constitution stipulate that there must be 12 jurors on every jury?” or “Why was the voting age lowered to 18?” Not only is there an answer on the back of each card, but the specific court case or other historical rationale is included, too.

Shakespeare: This one is so freaking perfect for teens. My guys get a serious kick out of Shakespearean insults. “I do desire we be better…strangers.”
