Vintage Onyx + Gold-Filled Bracelet W/ Chain Guard
Rich onyx meets luxe, gold-filled disk-links in this one-of-a-kind beauty. This rare find is elegant, sexy, and too dang gorgeous to be reserved only for fancy dresses. In fact, our favorite way to wear it would be with jeans & a sweater (push up the sleeves, add heels, lipstick…and a wink).
Notes about this vintage piece:
This piece has been lovingly restored and is in incredible condition*, with the chain guard still intact. Chain guards were once used in case the clasp popped open, the wearer wouldn’t lose a valuable bracelet.
“Gold filled” means that a thick layer of gold has been bonded to a base metal, and it’s much more durable (and will last far longer) than gold plated or gold vermeil jewelry. The only thing longer lasting than gold filled is actual solid gold (usually denoted as 14k or 24k gold).
