Gifts Under $50: Hand-Curated, Mostly Mother-Founded

A great gift under $50 isn't about spending less, it's about spending carefully. The pieces in this collection are small, beautiful, and really well-made: hand-painted porcelain earrings from France, a mocktail mixer made by a mom perfecting her grandmother's recipe, a pewter coffee scoop that turns a morning ritual into something. Under $50 doesn't have to mean underwhelming!

What you'll find in our under-$50 collection

A tight edit of jewelry, beauty, home goods, and small luxuries that punch way above their price. Hand-painted porcelain jewelry from Nach Bijoux, a French brand based in Toulouse, France. Aromatherapy eye towel sets from a small wellness brand that we steal from each other. Mocktail mixers from Mother Shrub. A hand-stamped pewter heart coffee scoop. Statement earrings, really special little studs, wildly glamorous hair accessories (made by a local Philadelphia designer), and soft beauty essentials - every single piece has been personally vetted by the TME editors.

Who these are for

If you're shopping for Mother's Day, a birthday, a thank-you, a hostess gift, a teacher appreciation moment, or a Galentine's, this is where to start. They're also some of our most-gifted pieces in general: small enough to feel low-pressure, beautiful enough to feel intentional.

Why we curate this way

The brands we carry are mostly run by women (often mothers!), frequently working out of small studios - your dollars actually fund their next batch. We built The Mom Edit Shop because we wanted to bring these smaller, local gems to our larger, national audience. This ethos is true at every price point in our shop, but it's especially powerful in the under-$50 tier, where the difference between a thoughtful gift and a forgettable one is almost entirely about who made it.
