Venezuela-born Luz makes these bags from a structured cotton knit fabric that is machine washable (she’s a mom, too, haha) and keeps its shape. They’re large enough to be useful at the grocery store or farmer’s market, but small enough (and cool enough) to carry everyday. They also come with an attached keyring so you’ll never lose your keys. 

    For each purchase, Luz donates to FUNDANICA, a nonprofit that provides medical assistance to a children’s hospital in the mountains of Venezuela where Luz grew up.

    Casupo

    Casupo is a sustainable leather goods brand founded by Luz, who grew up near the Casupo mountain range in Venezuela. With 15 years of experience designing leather goods for major brands like New Balance & Fila, Luz started her own line by rescuing leather destined for waste, and sourcing sustainable leathers from gold-rated tanneries (who use natural dyes to reduce toxic impact).

    A portion of Casupo profits is donated to FUNDANICA, a nonprofit providing children’s medical care in Venezuela, located at the base of the Casupo mountains where Luz spent her childhood hiking.

    Based in Long Beach, California, Casupo reflects Luz’s commitment to nature, responsible craftsmanship, and giving back.
