These one-of-a-kind stunners are the kind of hidden gems we get VERY excited about (and one of the many reasons we love working with Kat of Stone Cooper - she knows exactly what we like!). 

Each colorful pendant in this collection is a genuine vintage micro mosaic, an Italian handcraft that dates back centuries. If you look closely, they are made from tiny ceramic tiles, inlaid by hand. Set in genuine gold-fill or sterling silver, each pendant comes with both a chain or optional leather cord.  (Fun fact: vintage or antique gold-fill has much more gold bonded to it than gold-fill today). 

We genuinely love the look of the detailed pendant with a casual, leather cord, but also wanted the option to fancy it up with the chain. So we made sure that each pendant has a special clasp that allows it to be moved from one necklace to another (or, frankly, to any other necklace you own!)

Notes

Micro mosaic: an Italian craft dating back centuries, in which tiny individual glass tiles are set by hand to form intricate designs.

Popularized in Rome during the late 18th and early 19th centuries as luxury souvenirs for travelers on the Grand Tour.

Designer & Owner Katherine (Kat) Sliclen creates pieces that are sustainably and ethically-sourced, specializing in antique and vintage deadstock parts.
