Hand-painted, cloisonne ladybug charms on deadstock, gold-filled chain. 

Notes

  • Cloisonné: an ancient decorative metalwork technique. Thin metal strips are soldered onto a metal base, forming "cloisons" (dividers) that are filled with enamel. The objects are fired, ground smooth, and polished to create a, glass-like surface.
