This 30 minute hourglass timer has been an unexpected win with my husband. He keeps one on his desk (it’s actually kind of stunning, like art), and it’s been handy for getting work done in spurts (he uses the ‘pomodoro method’) without distractions.

Fun fact: during the shoot, we dropped it onto hardwood floors from 4ft up…and the glass didn’t break or crack.
