2027 Calendar French Jacquard Kitchen Towel
Calendar towels - this one is for 2027- are a charming, old-school sort of tradition you may remember your grandmother doing. These evoke the feeling of a slow Sunday morning, coffee in hand and chatting about plans for the year ahead. Hang it up in January and by December it’ll be filled with…memories. Such a nostalgic holiday gift or stocking stuffer (and is great for the person who’s impossible to shop for!).
These kitchen towels are made by Garnier-Thiebaut, the oldest linen house in France's Vosges region, weaving since 1833. They're jacquard specialists, and also supply some of the world’s fanciest hotels and restaurants, in addition to my messy kitchen. :)
Their French jacquard is special because it actually absorbs, as well as washes and dries like a dream. These towels also hold up for years - decades later mine have no unraveling seams or fading colors. And French jacquard feels so good in my hands.
Warning: once you start using these, it's REALLY tough to go back.
